SUPER VOLUNTEER JOBS
- Paint Station: 170 gallons is a lot of paint. Help mix paint, serve it to painters, and wash brushes. Work with the team that makes the color happen! Sign up.
- Greeting: Friendly people will be arriving all day long – say hello, help them find the volunteer check-in, and direct people on alternate routes due to road closure. Sign up.
- Helping Hands (aka Chaos Control): People need help in order to be helpful! We need outgoing people to help folks find their way around – tell them where to get a drink of water, a bathroom, or a paint captain to get a job. Offer to help a person with disabilities or a mom with wiley kids. Look out for rogue painters who don’t follow directions! Sign up.
- Set-up: Wake up early; help set-up chairs, tables, and shade structures. Sign up.
- Clean-up: Stay late; help pile up all paint buckets, fold tarps, and put away chairs, tables, and shade structures. Sign up.

Want to support this project? We still need donations!
Donations create living wages for artists, cover unexpected expenses (sales tax! food for volunteers!) and allow us to better document our work.
The mural is a project of the City of Davis Arts & Cultural Affairs program, and is supported in part by the California Arts Council, a state agency, and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency. It is sponsored by Asphalt Impressions, the Davis Waldorf School, and Dos Coyotes, with support from the Good Scoop, and over 100 individual donors.
