Community Art Build For the Earth (and All her Creatures)

Prepare for the 50th anniversary of Earth Day by joining with people of all ages to make giant puppets, flags, murals, and more. All who work to protect the earth -- please join us for a giant art party.

We'll have cardboard, cloth, paint, plywood, and stencils to help you raise your voice in support of planet Earth.  

Super Artists Justine Villanueva, Greg Irons, Drucella Miranda, David Abramson, Danielle Fodor, and Alyx Land will lead projects including a small pavement mural, giant puppet making, silkscreening, stenciling, banner painting, and youth climate theater. Singers and performers will use our Open Mic to share stories and songs about the earth.

Make art for your own Earth Day celebration, strike, or demonstration -- or join with a local environmental organization to help their message reach the masses, in vibrant, inspiring color.


Bring a bike or T-shirt to decorate, if you wish.

In Vision Workshop: Friday, April 3 -- 5:30-8 pm

• Workshop to design & plan art, with theater for kids.

Artbuild: Saturday & Sunday April 4-5 --  11 am -5 pm

• Make art all day long, art party with a purpose!
