Hi folks, I am hosting the first of 2 mural info sessions this Monday, May 14 at Hacienda Park. Both sessions will include the same info -- 2nd date TBA soon. If you are curious about the mural, attending an info session is the best way to get a quick understanding of what the project is about and how to get involved. Please BYO Chair. I will bring a few extras, but not enough for all. Look forward to seeing you there! Paint the Street is a fun, guided community art project to create public murals that improve the quality of neighborhood life

Between May and October 2018, local artist Danielle Fodor is leading a community mural in the Senda Nueva neighborhood (between Sycamore, Anderson, Alvarado, and the North Davis ditch). Neighborhood residents will design and paint a mural directly onto the asphalt street surfaces of our neighborhood. Creating art together will give us an opportunity to connect with neighbors, deepen our connection to the place we live, and build new friendships. BYO Chair & A Dessert or Snack to Share More Info: www.daniellefodor.com [email protected] The mural is a project of the City of Davis Arts and Cultural Affairs program, and is supported in part by the California Arts Council, a state agency, and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
