May is for Murals

May is the month for launching Paint the Street -- Senda Nueva.

Senda Nueva is the official name for the North Davis neighborhood between Sycamore Lane, Anderson, Alvarado Avenue, and the North Davis ditch -- although people often refer to the 'hood as "North Davis, near the Marketplace plaza" or "over by the Dominos". 

"Senda Nueva" is our name on the subdivision map, though, and it seems fitting for this project.  "Senda Nueva" is Spanish for "new path", and this project will renew our public paths and streets with art.

I will be updating this site frequently with events and happenings for the mural project.
